Uncle Troy has been helping our little Buddy fully embrace his love of trucks and big machines. Beginning with the forklift, which Daniel now seems to be comfortable with, we are now moving on to bigger and louder (not really louder, but Daniel seems to think that it will be) trucks like this front end loader - at least I think that's what it's called.
This was several weeks (maybe even months) ago when this happened. The front end loader was at the Tischner's house the last time we had been there and Daniel was interested in looking at it but was not interested in driving it. This time, however, he said he'd like to try it with Uncle Troy. Kate was totally up for the adventure as well. That's all that Uncle Troy needed to hear. He loaded both kids onto the Kubota and before he even started her up Daniel had his hands over his ears. Troy told him it wouldn't be very load and so Daniel relaxed a little.

The machine needed to be loaded up on a trailer that was parked in front of the house. On the way up the side the scooped up some dirt and rocks and dumped in on another pile. Daniel looked quite serious and focused. I got a video of it. I just love watching these little people try new things!
