It was Matt who started cooking with Kate when she was not much older than a year that started the tradition of our little cooks in the kitchen. Daniel consistently wants to help make, cook, peel, stir or whatever we're doing at the counter. I'll be standing at the counter and it will only be minutes before the rumbling of the chair being pushed across the floor begins, with Daniel calling out "Help! Help!" as he climbs up to help.
The desire to help has grown to wanting to help any time I'm sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming. I'm not complaining, I'm just going it will last until he's older. He's actually getting quite good at the hard held vacuum. Sure love this kid!
