Amy was a little nervous. We talked about how everything in the temple is symbolic. The white clothes. The oxen that the baptismal font sits on. Baptism by immersion. It was a very sweet experience to chat with her and sit by her in the peaceful happy of the temple.
My favorite part of the whole experience was watching Matt. He is such a good dad and loves his children in ways they don't yet understand. Emily asked to go last so she could watch Matt baptize Tyler and Amy. Matt hugged each of the kids as he finished baptizing them. It made me think of the families that were beginning the process of making covenants that would allow them to be together. It also was a reminder of how grateful I am to be sealed to Matt. We are eternally linked. Happy Day.
We wanted to take a picture to remember the day. That turned out to be a bit of a challenge. The camera wasn't cooperating and the woman we stopped had a hard time telling us when she was taking the picture. In the end, we didn't get a single good one of all of us. But we did get the following:

We did get this photo. Sure love these kids. It was a good, good day.
