Not a good sign...

Any time you have to hose off your child's bed you know he's been up to no good. Daniel Oden has done it again!  I could smell the disaster before I even got to our closet were he sleeps.
What did Daniel have to say as mom and I were hosing off his bed?  "Poop, Mama."
Yes, Buddy, poop.

Tuckered out

These two boys are tuckered out. Today is Oliver's due date. I love looking at this sweet boy in his daddy's arms. I love them more than words can say.

Blue Toes

Matt and Tyler picked out a darling island outfit for Little Brother to wear home from the hospital.

So when Robyn and I got a pedicure in preparation for his arrival, I did blue types with a hibiscus so we could both feel that aloha spirit.

School work

A princess and her daddy doing some school work.

Big Sister is Home!

Emily got home late last night from her trip to the Dominican Republic.  Super fun to talk with her on the drive home and this morning.

Yesterday I told Kate she would get a surprise in the morning. She kept asking what it was. Emily had said that they could come in to see her in the morning even if she was asleep. So when I went in to get the Littles and Kate asked again weekday the surprise was, I told Kate to go see who was in Emily and Amy's room. Emily heard us and was sitting on her bed when she opened the door.  Kate ran and gave her several big hugs and then immediately started talking about the Dragon float she'd seen yesterday. Daniel seemed a little confused but then have her a hug.

After breakfast, Daniel found this little rolling backpack and brought it over to Emily and pointed to his bag and her rolling bag. For the next fifteen minutes they walked around together with their bags. At almost every loop he would point to their bags and say, "Bag!"  She's so fun to play along. Glad she went and glad she's home!

Ramen and Corned Beef

A very regular mission meal in Vanuatu was ramen noodles with corned beef over rice. I've talked about it several times so when I was at a Polynesian market in May and saw a small can of corned beef I grabbed it.  I made the dish for dinner tonight.  Matt was quite excited since he'd had it when he was in Vanuatu in April. I think it's safe to say that Daniel was also a fan.

"Posciples"

Watching these two chat while enjoying popsicles on a hot summer afternoon is kinda like heaven.  I love being a mom.
